The Belt Line has several industrial real estate sites located along its right-of-way that are or could be multi-modal served. The following locations would be suitable for intermodal container, truck transfer, trailer/container storage, container/trailer staging, transloading, warehousing, bulk storage, manufacturing and distribution.

1. Port Norfolk Yard located three city blocks from the public piers of the Portsmouth Marine Terminal in Portsmouth, Virginia. This site is rail served and has 25 acres of real estate. Buildings include a 15,000 sq. ft. shop and a 4,000 sq. ft. general office building. Infrastructure includes excellent highway access, rail access, electricity, gas, water, and sewer.
